Portfolio Snapshot
As of the end of May 2025, my portfolio contained 45 total positions, 1 less than the month prior.
You can see all the portfolio activity down below, but first, here is a snapshot of my entire portfolio:
Portfolio Performance
In this section, I will highlight the performance of the portfolio both on a MONTHLY and Year-To-Date basis.

For comparison, here is how the benchmark S&P 500 did during those same time frames:

And here is how the equal weighted S&P 500 performed:

May was a STRONG bounce back month for the portfolio, as it was good to see green again on both the monthly basis, but also turning green for the year as well. Markets have bounced in a big way off the April lows, and although we have some caution about the near-term path ahead, we still remain steadfast in our belief of time invested over trying to time the market.
The portfolio was pretty much in lockstep with the S&P 500 during the month, performing very strong, and we still maintain a lead in terms of overall performance which is the ultimate goal.
As you will see down in the “Activity” section, we made some timely additions and timely sells to the portfolio. We added SCHG when we saw the turn back to growth which has paid off nicely and another huge impact came by way of adding to our NEE position, after its unnecessary sell-off.
As I mentioned, the markets seem like they are in a good spot, but their are some near-term issues that persist and could negatively impact the market, but our diversified portfolio is setup to handle that.
Stay tuned within our discord where Edge+ members get TRADE ALERTS, being notified of any changes I make to my portfolio in real time.

Portfolio Snapshot
As of the end of May 2025, my brokerage portfolio contained 59 total positions — 57 stock holdings and 2 options contract.
Here is a snapshot of my portfolio:
Portfolio Performance
In this section, I will highlight the performance of my portfolio in May as well as for the full year.
For comparison, here is how the benchmark S&P 500 did during those same time frames:

And here is how the equal weighted S&P 500 performed:

May delivered a welcome reversal in momentum, with my portfolio climbing +3.99% for the month, a sharp contrast to April’s decline and a clear sign of broadening strength beneath the surface. While the S&P 500 gained +6.15% and the Equal Weight S&P 500 rose +4.15%, my diversified holdings posted a solid rebound, confirming the benefits of staying patient through volatility.
Growth stocks, international exposure, and steady performers in gold and income-focused ETFs all contributed to the bounce. Notably, positions in Amazon (AMZN), Meta (META), TSMC (TSM), Shopify (SHOP), and Palo Alto (PANW) surged over +10% in May alone, while gold ETFs such as GLD and GDX also staged meaningful recoveries. The cash cushion and defensive positioning continue to give me peace of mind even as the market rebounded from its April lows.
Year-to-date, the portfolio is now up +1.80%, outperforming both the S&P 500 (+0.51%) and the Equal Weight S&P 500 (+0.57%). That outperformance is being driven by sector balance, a healthy allocation to cash, and risk-managed exposure to growth via tech and international funds.
Looking ahead, I remain cautiously optimistic. Inflation pressures have eased slightly, but tariff overhangs and Fed ambiguity remain unresolved. I’ll continue monitoring macro headwinds while letting strong names run and trimming into strength when appropriate, as well as holding downside protection just in case.
Monthly Activity
In this section, I will go through the transactions that were made within the portfolio during the month.
March was another month where patience paid off. With markets still reacting sharply to tariff headlines, the…upgrade to Edge+ to see Chris’s entire portfolio and the moves made during the month.

Closing Remarks
We saw a continuation of the momentum in May after bouncing off the April lows. Both our portfolios performed quite well, which is always reassuring as we try and educate all our Edge subscribers even during difficult times and I think we have proven that over the start of this year.
2025 has brought plenty of twists and turns, but as an investor, it is important for us to stick to our strategies. It is easy to get pulled by headlines, but it is important to invest based on facts and sticking to your strategies of valuing stocks.
There are plenty of headwinds on the horizon from the impact of tariffs on inflation, June and July CPI will be huge, to the pending trade tensions across the globe. Right now, the “Risk On” trade feels strong, but anything can change on a dime, which is why we must maintain a well rounded portfolio.
June is the last month of Q2, so do not be surprised if you see some selling pressures towards the end of the month when hedge funds make some quarterly adjustments to their portfolios.
Forecasting the current environment is no easy task, since the tariff situation is one that remains fluid. The US and China still have a handshake agreement, which was extended for another 6-months and the US remains in discussions with other countries. Interest rates are not likely to drop until Fall at the earliest, but that could be a growth driver for stocks coming up.
Being part of our discord community is vital right now because that is where we post all the up to the minute updates and trades as they are made, so you can choose to follow or not.
